If you chose Card 1:
Air -
How the winds blow, so do the emotions of time as they catch a ride on the currency of communication.
The element of air is known as the beginning. With the first breath, we are given permission to be here. You are a dynamic energetic being, experiencing and communicating your interpretation of it out into the world. Some come from a place of honoring and some from a place of control. Just as words can be experienced as joyful or hurtful, so can energy. Oftentimes on this path, you will experience words, energy, and communication that you not only internalize, but misinterpret. A word may mean one thing to someone as it's communicated and something totally different to another. Here begins the confusion of communication. An empath has the ability to feel and an opportunity to regain the sacredness of communication.
By letting the energy of air flow unimpeded, walls can crumble from a strong wind, but the trees teach us to bend and allow the currency of communication to flow around you. Are you creating walls to communication? Are you judging or labeling a situation or labeling the situation and not honoring your own and others' words?
If you picked Card 2:
Summer -
My work has been completed; I relish in the knowing that enjoyment and celebration now begins.
Summer is a time of warmth and carefree abandonment. The days are long, and the nights are short allowing us more time for our pleasures. Whether it be the ocean, mountains, forest, or lake, take this time to venture out and experience the energies of nature. Soon they teach us the pleasure of stopping and taking it all in, letting go, and being carefree in the gift this season provides. The plantings of the spring are completed in time to kick back and enjoy as our manifestations continue their growth.
Do I allow myself to stop and enjoy the moment after the work has been completed? Is nature calling to share its gift? Am I too wrapped up in looking ten steps ahead that I am failing to live in the moment?
If you selected Card 3:
Clearing -
My energy, both inside and out, is mine to take care of and be responsible.
Throughout the day it becomes very important for the empath to clear the energies that they pick up as they walk their earthly path. Just like a bur, negative thoughts, words, and emotional projections can become stuck in our auric field and be experienced as an overall heaviness. Different cultures throughout the ages have discovered tools that can be used to cleanse the negative energies from our systems. Examples are shells, feathers, sacred plants in loose form, or bundles called smudge sticks, sometimes called smudging. The smudging practice when done correctly can be very effective. Smoke from sacred plants such as white sage, palo santo, cedar, and/or juniper are burned and fanned through the auric field to clear the denser negative energies. Because smoke is lighter than air, these heavier energies are captured and moved up and out. This practice can also be used to clear one's home or to create a sacred space. Using the same concept, attaining a higher vibration being a goal, a skillful empath can simply use a feather to catch the denser energies and release them with the knowing that feathers are what allow birds to soar on the winds.
Have I cleansed myself? Is my space clear of negativity? Would cleansing my physical, emotional, and mental self bring a new perspective about this situation? Does something need to be cleared out of my life in order to make it lighter?
Thank you for participating in my card drawing for today. I hope that you enjoyed it! Did the card(s) you felt drawn to give you some guidance to think about?
