Card Drawing November 2, 2020

Good day, soul friends! Black Lives Matter!

Hope your week was magical! It is already November! This year feels so odd and so long.

Today's guidance comes from The Lantern Oracle deck by Angelina Mirabito.

Which card(s) do you feel drawn to today?

Left - 1, Middle - 2, or Right - 3...

Focus on the image and chose which cards you feel drawn to before scrolling down.

.........

Did you choose your card, yet?

........

almost there!

If you chose Card 1:

Enough - You were born enough.

Throughout life, we grow either toward or away from embodying our Spirit Self. The direction away from our Spirit Self is often poorly compensated with a false identity that further weakens our power, autonomy, and authenticity. Even amongst apparent success, such pretenses further stifle us from within.

A life constructed from self-compromise and erasure will shatter from the inside out, much like a mansion built on a hollow foundation will crumble. It can be no other way.

Tune into an aspect of your life that does not feel right, inspiring, or true to you. This card asks you to step up and move forward with clarity and a firm commitment to what is right for and by you.

All that you are, all that you have, and all that you do is enough. It is more than enough. The fact that you breathe is all that is ever required of you to be enough. So, give yourself permission to simply be. Always be you. You were born enough.

If you picked Card 2:

The Unknown - Knowing the Unknown.

It is natural and human to feel reluctant and fearful at the beginning of a significant change. Change confronts us with so many unknowns and such overwhelming feelings that challenges us whenever an unfamiliar direction is taken. However, to never try something new or cease to continue when things change is to go against life's natural rhythm of continued growth and transformation.

What is known can quickly become comfortably familiar as well as stifling to our gradual yet ongoing progression. The price we pay to stay in what is known is stagnation and fear. Trust that you have the sufficient skills and knowledge to navigate your way through an unknown aspect of your life.

You are so much more than the accumulation of your fears. You are capable of moving forward despite the uncertainty you might feel. You have everything it takes to choose the unknown and embrace change by focusing on what your next step requires.

Don't put off changes. This card is a reminder that if you do nothing different, nothing changes.

If you selected Card 3:

Forgiveness - Hurt blocks our light.

The only forgiveness that we can receive is that which we experience for ourselves. In essence, to fivie another, life or the world is as irrelevant as being forgiven by another, life, or the world. If we have not forgiven ourselves, we can neither receive forgiveness nor have it to give.

Forgiveness is a word that often evokes in us a sense of defensiveness and anger. Why should we be the ones to forgive when we were the ones wronged? When exploring the concept of forgiveness, the key lies in the word "wrong" and not in the doing or the doer of the wrong. Every happening is neutral in and of itself and as indifferent as nature. It is us who bring such notions of wrong, right, good, and bad to stimuli.

The beginning of everything true and the end of everything false starts the moment we forgive ourselves for having forgotten that we are not our bodies, our behavior, our memories, or the stories that we live out.

We are not the wrongs done to us or that we may have done to others; nor are we made broken, defective, or less that from them. There is nothing to be fixed or be added to. Forgiveness is your way home. You are the only light you need.

Thank you for participating in my card drawing for today. I hope that you enjoyed it! Did the card(s) you felt drawn to give you some guidance to think about?

Don't forget to check back next week for another card drawing!
