Magic & Manifestation Affirmation Cards
Hello, soul friends!
Today's review is covering a deck that I purchased a while ago. Ethony had posted a few pictures of it on her Instagram and I loved the photos of it. It was beautiful and I thought the pictures that I had seen made it an interesting choice to add into my collection. It was a beautiful addition.
I hope you enjoy my review and generous pictures!
Magic and Manifestation Affirmation Cards
I purchased it from Ethony's site and thought it was an interesting approach to an affirmation deck. It was a unique addition to my collection, as it stands out with the beautiful artwork and amazing quality of the card stock.
Ethony's description is:
“Magic and Manifestation Affirmation Cards – 33 Gold Gilded Oracle Cards and Guidebook.
I am so pleased to be able to offer this beautiful Oracle Deck to my Tarot Tribe members outside Australia.
'The Magic and Manifestation Affirmation Deck contains 33 beautifully illustrated Oracle cards providing you with the inspiration and guidance to envision and manifest your life’s dreams.’
This deck is luxe and so special. The card stock is nice and thick (you all know how I like good card stock) so it will last a long time and the gild gilded edges are on both sides of the cards, the edges and the box."

My Personal Review
This 33-card deck is meant to be used as a daily inspirational conversation to have with yourself, when you feel you can't really look past your own personal blocks. This can also be used as an oracle deck, and as an affirmation deck. I wasn't really aware of what to expect with this deck, but kept an open mind. This was obviously a deck for those who like affirmations or something to meditate on.
The artwork is a luxurious mixture of animals and beautiful figures. It was originally published in 2012 by Cristina Re. It has bright and complementary watercolor artwork without being overly busy. The cards are clean, crisp, and extravagant, yet subtle. There is whimsical quality to the artwork. The backs are a simple, yet rich border and a simple star that allows for reversed meanings.
The cards have fun, beautiful, and the guidebook has some interesting perspectives for the card's meanings, allowing one to take just a minute to think about the message, perhaps altering their mental energy and focus on the message that allows you to dive a bit deeper. They offer interesting suggestions and also a way to re-frame your mental state, while bringing good reminders.
The size of the cards is quite a bit larger than a traditional tarot card, but smaller than some Hay House cards. Now, I have to mention this beautiful and delicious card stock. It is so thick and the gilded edges add a luxe detail to hold. The addition of the beautiful golden borders on both the fronts and backs just put the details into a different category. It is one of the most luxurious decks I have in my collection. Paired with the beautiful artwork, it truly is a sight to behold. Pictures truly do not do it justice.
The card stock is thick, matte, and doesn't bend very well. Shuffling these cards is nice and smooth. They are slick and buttery, and don't stick together. The box is thick and a good quality, it also has a lot of the same gilding and gold details as the cards do. It is a different type of box than what I am used to, but I found it to be a well done box. It fits everything neatly and well.
The simple guidebook helps you further connect to the cards and they have a small picture of the cards and upright and reversed meanings. The cards tend to tell a small story about the card's images and how it pertains to the keyword on the card images. The reversed meanings also remind you of important lessons to keep in mind. I found it to be a helpful little addition to the cards, but I could see this deck being used without the guidebook, as well. I actually am learning to appreciate these types of decks that give you the space to devise your own meanings and use the decks without too much of a restrictive meaning.
The aesthetic is calming and yet so extravagant. The beauty of it has brought me a lot of joy in using it with clients. The images are gorgeous and they do help with sharing them with clients who may have an aversion to garish or scary images like the ones that can be found in Tarot. I have enjoyed the way this deck works for me and how it has brought messages for my clients. I find that it is a luxe deck and it truly is a beautiful addition to anyone who enjoys oracle and affirmation decks.

Overall, I found this to be a surprisingly beautifully aesthetic deck.
My overall opinion is that this deck is a 3.5 star choice.
Artwork - 5 stars
Card stock - 5 stars
Ease - 3 stars
Guidebook - 3 stars
